NeoAuraLife – Counselling Agreement & Terms of Service
This Counselling Agreement outlines the responsibilities, expectations, and rights of both the Client and the Counsellor, before starting any counselling sessions (“Sessions”).
NeoAuraLife provides emotional and mental wellbeing support for women, children, and families through certified counsellors who follow strict ethical standards under Indian laws.
1. Confidentiality
All information shared during Sessions is strictly confidential.
Counsellors may consult their supervisors periodically for professional guidance, but your personal details will not be disclosed. Supervisors are bound by the same confidentiality standards.
Information will be shared with a third party only with your explicit consent, except in the following situations where disclosure is legally or ethically required:
- If the client is under 18, where parents/legal guardians may access records
- If there is risk of harm to self or others
- If abuse or neglect of a child, elderly, or disabled individual is reported
- During legal proceedings, subpoenas, or court orders
- For regulatory or professional action
- When required by law
- When transferring a case
- To support certain medical/psychological evaluations
Important Note:
If you are receiving medical or psychiatric treatment, please inform your counsellor. They will only speak to your doctor with your consent — except in emergencies involving self-harm or risk to others, where the counsellor must inform relevant medical or emergency authorities.
Counsellors may keep session notes or occasional audio recordings (with prior permission). All records are stored securely and destroyed after use.
2. Access to Services
For scheduling, rescheduling, or cancellations, clients may contact the phone number provided by NeoAuraLife.
This number should only be used for counselling-related communication.
If you are in an emergency:

NeoAuraLife is not a crisis intervention service.
Clients must ensure their contact information is updated and accurate.
3. Session Details
- Individual & Couples Sessions: 60 minutes
- Extensions: Additional 50% of session fee for every extra 30 minutes
- If a client arrives late, the session will still end at the scheduled time
- If the client is more than 15 minutes late, the session will be marked as a no-show
- Counsellors will remain available for the entire scheduled session time
Clients are expected to:
- Provide accurate information to the best of their knowledge
- Complete assignments or exercises mutually agreed upon
- Communicate any discomfort or emotional distress during the process
A progress review may be conducted after the first three sessions.
4. Cancellations, Refunds & Holidays
- No refunds will be issued under any circumstances.
- Cancellations or no-shows will still be charged in full, regardless of timing.
- Rescheduling is allowed with a minimum 12-hour notice, subject to mutual availability.
- If the counsellor is unavailable due to illness or personal leave, the session will be rescheduled at no extra cost.
- Any form of sexual harassment—including inappropriate comments, gestures, advances, or sharing explicit content—will lead to immediate termination of the session, with no refund or credit provided.
- Policies are periodically reviewed and may be updated as needed.
5. Contact Outside Sessions
If you encounter your counsellor in a public or social setting, they will not initiate contact to protect your privacy.
If you approach them first, they may respond briefly and professionally.
If the counsellor and client happen to belong to the same social or professional group, the counsellor may choose to discontinue the counselling relationship to avoid conflict of interest.
6. Data Protection & Record Keeping
NeoAuraLife securely stores confidential records accessible only to authorized personnel.
Client information may be used anonymously for training, statistics, and quality improvement.
Sensitive data may include:
- Gender & sexuality
- Religious or cultural information
- Physical or mental health details
- Relationship or family information
- Criminal or legal history
Records are stored for 1 year (physical) or 1 years (digital) and then destroyed securely according to data protection guidelines.
7. Fees & Payments
- Standard fees apply for all services
- Payment must be completed immediately to confirm the appointment
- Sessions without confirmed payment will be automatically cancelled
- Additional fees apply for assessments, tests, or extra services
- Fee structures are reviewed annually, and clients will be informed of any revisions
8. Client Declaration
By proceeding with counselling, the Client confirms:
- They have read and understood the terms of this agreement
- They consent to NeoAuraLife using their personal and sensitive data to deliver counselling services
- They understand their rights regarding access, confidentiality, and data protection
- They agree to uphold the responsibilities outlined in this agreement
This agreement signifies mutual understanding and acceptance of the terms stated above.
